Denise Jansson was born in Iran (prior to the Revolution) and grew up abroad, living 3-5 years each in Iran, Egypt, Norway, Scotland, and England. They used each new country as the base from which to take further exploratory travels. When she was 17 her family returned permanently to this country.
Earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting in 2003, Denise graduated from Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas. To further develop her ability to understand the language and impact of the arts Denise chose the University Of New Hampshire for her Masters in Fine Art and graduated in 2008.
She now resides on the Seacoast of New Hampshire on a quiet piece of land creating in her glorious art studio with her significant other Kelly and their cute dog friend Pixie. Denise believes creativity is more than being able to draw and paint, it is our birthright. Creating is healing, and a powerful resource to connect with ones intuition and personal power.
