@ The Fermanent This Week

Thursday, March 12 | 5–7 PM

Wine Club Members — your March selections are ready! Join us for our monthly Wine Club Pick-Up Party, where members can taste this month’s wines before bringing them home.

We’ll be sampling the March wine club selections, and Lucy from Seacoast Bites will be joining us with cheese pairings that complement the wines perfectly. She’ll also have cheese available for purchase if you’d like to bring some home.

We’ll also have pizza from SoDo to enjoy while you mingle with fellow members.

Have a friend curious about the wine club? Bring them along! Anyone who signs up that evening will leave with their wine that night.

Live Music with Tim Theriault

Saturday, March 14 | 6–8 PM

Join us Saturday evening for live music with Tim Theriault.

Tim brings an easygoing acoustic set that pairs perfectly with a glass of wine and a relaxed night at The Fermanent. Grab a seat at the bar, open a bottle with friends, and settle in for a cozy evening of music and wine.

Book Club! 3/19 6:30pm

Our March read is Time of the Child by Niall Williams.

Set in a small Irish village in the 1960s, Time of the Child is a quietly powerful novel about community, compassion, and unexpected connection. When a baby is left in the care of Doctor Jack Troy during a snowstorm, the event ripples through the town — revealing secrets, testing loyalties, and reminding everyone of the fragile threads that bind us together.

Williams writes with warmth and depth, blending lyrical prose with deeply human storytelling. It’s a story about belonging, forgiveness, and the way ordinary lives can be transformed by extraordinary moments.

Whether you:

  • read every page

  • listened on audio

  • skimmed a few chapters

  • or simply meant to start

You are welcome here.

Come for thoughtful conversation, a cozy atmosphere, and (of course) beautiful wine available by the glass.
